01 / ACCOUNTS & AGE

A nickname, with an account behind it.

This community is for adults aged 18 and over. You confirm your own age at registration; the service does not verify identity documents or independently verify your age.

We store your username, display name, selected interests, language, conversation style, permissions, and account timestamps. Passwords and recovery codes are stored as protected hashes, not readable passwords or codes. Keep the recovery code shown to you somewhere private: it is used to reset your password, and we do not ask for an email address at sign-up.

An essential session cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days. The service also uses limited security records to control repeated requests. Cloudflare hosts the website and community service, and handles connection information needed to deliver and protect it. Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives normal browser connection information for those requests.

02 / MATCHING & PERSONALIZATION

Shared curiosity, not a personality diagnosis.

Matching considers your chosen interests, language, conversation style, waiting time, blocks, and previous match feedback. When a close match is unavailable, waiting can broaden the topics considered. It cannot guarantee a compatible conversation or determine who is telling the truth.

If you enable personalization, simple topic keywords in your own messages add to your learned interests. This is not a psychological assessment, a full understanding of your beliefs, or an analysis of your partner’s private profile. You can edit your selected interests, view learned topics, reset them, or turn learning off in Settings. Turning it off clears the learned interests.

03 / CONVERSATIONS & RETENTION

Private rooms have practical limits.

We store messages, room participants, conversation topics, timing, match feedback, and moderation reports to run the chat and respond to abuse. Conversations use a 30-day retention window from when the room starts; expired rooms and their associated messages are removed during routine cleanup. Your account and preferences remain until you delete your account.

Messages travel over HTTPS, but the service stores readable chat text: this is not end-to-end encrypted. Your conversation partner can read messages you send. The service operator and authorized administrators can access stored data, including reported conversations for moderation. Another participant may save or share what you say outside the service; we cannot prevent that.

Use Settings → Download my data to retrieve your available account and conversation data. Account deletion removes your account and its associated stored rooms and records. You will need your password to confirm deletion. See below for the limits concerning earlier dataset exports or model training.

04 / OPTIONAL DATASET & AI TRAINING

Contribution requires both people.

Dataset contribution is optional and is not required to chat. A conversation is eligible only if both participants agreed when the room began and both still agree when it is exported. Eligible exports support conversation research and matching quality. AI training is a separate permission and requires both people’s dataset and training permissions.

Exports use speaker labels such as A and B rather than account names. Automatic filters remove known account names and common email addresses, phone-like numbers, links, and handles. This is pseudonymization and automatic redaction, not a guarantee of anonymity: the words themselves can still reveal identity or personal details. The owner must review exports before use. Conversations are not verified facts or verified philosophical truth.

The dataset is private by default and is not published as a public collection. Reported or blocked conversations, suspended members’ conversations, and conversations beyond the retention window are excluded from new exports.

05 / GOOGLE DRIVE & WITHDRAWAL

Current snapshots, with current permission.

Once the owner connects the Google Drive exporter, eligible data is saved in the owner’s private Drive as managed current dataset files. The exporter is designed to replace those files on an hourly schedule, rather than append every historical conversation forever. The schedule depends on successful runs and the owner’s Drive connection; merely using this site does not confirm that Drive is connected.

You can withdraw dataset or training permission in Settings. Withdrawal makes your previous conversations ineligible for future exports; opting back in does not re-enable those older conversations. A managed Drive snapshot excludes revoked or deleted data at the next successful refresh, so an existing snapshot can remain until that refresh completes.

Older manual downloads or copies are not automatically erased from someone’s device by changing a setting. The owner must replace outdated copies and recheck permission before use. Withdrawal can stop future eligible use, but it cannot undo training already completed or remove the effects of past training from an existing model. No public sharing is enabled by default.

06 / COMMUNITY CARE

Disagree with care.

• Discuss ideas respectfully. Do not harass, threaten, demean, or target another person.
• Do not share another person’s personal information, impersonate someone, run scams, or send spam.
• No sexual exploitation, sexual content involving minors, or attempts to bring minors into this adults-only space.
• Respect boundaries. Someone may end a conversation without explaining why.
• Use Block to prevent future matching with that account, and Report to send a specific concern to the moderators. These actions end the current conversation.

Administrators can review reported conversations and suspend access after review. Reports are not monitored as an emergency service. For an immediate threat or emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service.
